About the role#

This six-month training program, administered by the Musselwhite Academy, prepares individuals for work in a mineral processing environment. The curriculum covers the Basic Mill Process Operator – Mineral Ore Common Core modules, alongside industry-specific specialty modules. The program combines theory with practical activities to ensure trainees enter the workforce with a foundational understanding of mineral processing, with a primary focus on safety.

What you'll do#

• Participate in a six-month training program.
• Learn the fundamentals of mineral processing.
• Complete the Basic Mill Process Operator training modules.
• Receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.

What you'll need#

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation and a desire to learn new skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Currently enrolled in or pursuing studies in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.

Location & details#

• Location: Musselwhite Mine, Ontario.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.
• Compensation: CAD $25.00 per hour.
