Internal Audit Intern

About the role#

ORIX Corporation USA is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to support the Internal Audit team in Dallas, Texas. This position involves working closely with team members and process owners to ensure audit procedures are completed in accordance with business needs and audit programs.

What you'll do#

• Coordinate and track Prepared By Client (PBC) requests, including following up on outstanding items and organizing documentation.
• Complete audit testing across assigned areas.
• Draft audit findings, reports, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Monitor the status of open audit findings and assist with follow-up procedures.
• Provide regular status updates on assignments and fieldwork observations to the Internal Audit team.
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as maintaining electronic files and tracking time.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate student entering their senior year, majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn specialized technology quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and a deadline-driven approach to managing multiple assignments.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and mathematical skills.
• A strong interest in pursuing a career in audit.
