Marketing & Business Development Intern

About the role#

OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Intern for Summer 2026. This role provides hands-on experience in lead research, business development, CRM management, and marketing operations within an industrial business. You will work on projects directly tied to pipeline growth, customer engagement, and marketing execution, gaining insight into how these functions collaborate to support revenue growth.

What you'll do#

• Research inbound leads and target accounts using industry tools, search engines, and professional networks.
• Identify and qualify companies that fit OBR’s services based on facility type, geography, and specific needs.
• Support follow-up efforts for inbound leads, website visitors, existing customers, and prospect lists.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate records in Dynamics CRM and HubSpot to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with outreach preparation by gathering contact details, company backgrounds, and relevant messaging points.
• Support list building, segmentation, and administrative marketing tasks for ongoing campaigns.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communications, sales, analytics, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good research skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interest in marketing, business development, sales operations, or industrial markets.

• Location: Grandview Heights, Ohio.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026).
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Paid ($21 – $23 per hour).
• Schedule: 25 to 35 hours per week with some flexibility.
