The Process Improvement & Standardization Intern will support the development of scalable operational standards across the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business. This role involves analyzing workflows across multiple client accounts to determine where standardized operating models can be implemented and where customization is required to meet unique client needs. You will work alongside operations, account management, and technology teams to establish best practices and governance frameworks that balance consistency with client-specific requirements.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate recruiting and operational workflows across multiple RPO client accounts to identify opportunities for standardization, efficiency, and scalability.
- Support the creation and maintenance of a standardized operating framework that promotes consistency and quality across the organization.
- Document standard processes, approved process variations, SOPs, workflow diagrams, playbooks, and knowledge management resources.
- Partner with account teams to understand client requirements and how customized processes align with or deviate from established standards.
- Collaborate with technology and implementation teams to understand platform functionality and the operational impact of process changes.
- Create process maps that identify standard workflows, exception paths, and client-specific variations.
- Conduct process audits and operational reviews to assess adherence to standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to measure process effectiveness and support improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate processes across diverse client environments and identify common operational patterns.
- Exceptional documentation skills with experience creating detailed SOPs, workflows, process maps, and operational guides.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality documentation standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and process mapping or documentation tools.
- Ability to understand technology platforms, system limitations, and the operational effort associated with process changes.
- Preferred: Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies, and familiarity with recruiting operations or talent acquisition.
