About the role#
NV5 is seeking a student intern to support the Transportation group. This role involves assisting with design preparation and project-related tasks within a collaborative studio environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare designs, reports, and perform engineering calculations.
- Utilize CADD, Civil 3D, and ORD software for project tasks.
- Communicate and interact with the project team, agencies, and clients as required.
- Conduct site visit fieldwork as needed.
- Attend project meetings and provide assistance with specific tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a BS program for Civil or Agricultural Engineering.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with supervision and contribute effectively as a team member.
