    About the role#

    NV5 is seeking a student intern to support the Transportation group. This role involves assisting with design preparation and project-related tasks within a collaborative studio environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare designs, reports, and perform engineering calculations.
    • Utilize CADD, Civil 3D, and ORD software for project tasks.
    • Communicate and interact with the project team, agencies, and clients as required.
    • Conduct site visit fieldwork as needed.
    • Attend project meetings and provide assistance with specific tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a BS program for Civil or Agricultural Engineering.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Effective interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently with supervision and contribute effectively as a team member.

    • Location: Jacksonville, Florida.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
