Ntiva is seeking a Service Desk Intern to join the team in Huntington, West Virginia. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship role with a rolling term. Interns will gain hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system administration while supporting a growing managed services organization.
What you'll do#
- Accept incoming client troubleshooting calls and perform outbound calls to address email requests.
- Communicate directly with clients via email regarding support issues and scheduling.
- Prepare and set up laptops and desktops, including Windows configuration and network connectivity with servers and printers.
- Perform basic client account administration within Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Track scheduled work and provide updates to clients as changes occur.
- Log detailed case notes within the company ticketing system and identify necessary documentation updates.
What you'll need#
- Must be an enrolled student at West Virginia University at Parkersburg or Mountwest Community & Technical College.
- Must be in your first year (with at least one semester completed) or in your second year.
- Must be enrolled in the Network Systems & Security, Computer and Information Technology, or Computer Science programs.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Strong attention to detail and a client-centric focus.
