This is a technical internship focused on AI development, automation, and intelligent systems within the Intellectual Property Operations team. You will partner with the Head of IP Operations to evolve existing AI agents, enhance their reliability, and create new automation tools to support business processes. This role focuses on improving performance, strengthening safeguards, and integrating enterprise data sources to solve real-world business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and improve AI agents for document analysis, summarization, and data extraction.
- Enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows to improve AI accuracy and reliability.
- Refine prompts, system instructions, and agent logic to reduce hallucinations.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, and internal databases.
- Troubleshoot AI workflows, identify system bottlenecks, and improve performance.
- Implement validation, security, and data privacy safeguards for enterprise AI applications.
- Collaborate on automation projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and recommendations for future development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics (rising junior or senior preferred).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with RAG architectures, AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), APIs, and structured data is preferred.
