About the role#
The 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program is a ten-week internship designed for students to gain exposure to live transactions and client-facing business development. The program includes one week of intensive training followed by a nine-week placement within a sector coverage or product group. Interns are treated as full members of the deal team, with access to business-led discussion groups, networking events, and mentorship from both junior and senior professionals.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with clients and execution teams on live transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions.
- Generate and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team.
- Support transactions and client presentations through financial, structural, and business risk analysis.
- Participate in efforts to pitch and win new mandates from clients by leveraging proprietary content and ideas.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Outstanding academic qualifications.
- Excellent analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop an understanding of financial products.
- Eagerness to learn and work hard as part of a team in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Academic background in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics is preferred.
