The Ranch Management Intern will work on-site at Noble Research Institute ranches in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This is a paid, full-time position for the Winter 2026 term, spanning up to six months from mid-January through the end of June. The role provides practical experience in a regenerative ranching environment, including housing for out-of-area interns.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the daily operations of Noble ranches to gain a comprehensive understanding of ranch management.
- Attend Noble educational courses that complement ranch activities.
- Complete specific projects assigned by the general ranch manager and director of ranches, utilizing software such as Excel.
- Work with ranch managers to evaluate current operations and contribute ideas for developing management plans and profitability strategies.
- Perform consistent field and ranch work, which may require a schedule outside of traditional business hours.
What you'll need#
- Completed master's level coursework in an agriculture-related field.
- Current enrollment in a graduate-level ranch management program that requires an internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for up to 6 months.
- Personal transportation for non-work-related travel.
- Successful completion of a post-offer background check and WorkSTEPS test.

- Compensation: $15.50 per hour.
