    About the role#

    NLMK USA is hiring for the Summer Student Production Support Program for locations in Farrell and Sharon, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, paid summer position for the 2026 season. Employment is limited to 120 days and may be terminated by the company at any time.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited college or technical program. You must be currently attending or scheduled to attend in the fall. Note that online-only programs are not eligible, and proof of active enrollment is required.
    • Availability to work seven days a week on any of the three assigned shifts.
    • Completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
    • Preference is given to previous summer workers and direct relatives of employees.

    • Locations: Farrell, PA and Sharon, PA.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: Starts at $17.70 per hour, with applicable contractual overtime and shift differential payments.
    • Preferred Majors: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

    NLMK USA is a privately held mining and manufacturing company founded in 2007 with headquarters in Farrell, Pennsylvania. The organization employs between 1,001 and 5,000 people across three production facilities located in Pennsylvania and Indiana. It specializes in the production of flat rolled steel, including hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, and galvannealed coils. These products serve clients in the automotive, construction, pipe and tube, and heavy equipment sectors.
