The Cash Management group at the New York City Housing Development Corporation oversees incoming and outgoing cash transactions, balances, and forecasts. The team manages investment activities, services debt on outstanding bonds, and coordinates with internal departments to manage escrow funds and reconcile cash balances. This internship provides support to the team across these core financial operations.
What you'll do#
- Input various investments, including repurchase agreements, US treasuries, agencies, and bank deposits, while ensuring trustees receive all necessary collateral.
- Price collateral using the Bloomberg terminal.
- Process cash-related transfer requests and assist with construction loan advances.
- Coordinate Excel and PDF files for transfer to Trustee banks.
- Manage document signatures using Adobe Acrobat Sign and handle data entry across operational systems.
- Communicate with brokers regarding Repurchase Agreement investments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program.
- Foundational knowledge of finance or accounting principles.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on advanced Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Undergraduate rate of $18/hr; Graduate rate of $20/hr.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
