The IT Help Desk Intern provides first-line technical support to employees by troubleshooting computer systems, software applications, and related technology. This role involves identifying, researching, and resolving technical incidents to minimize business disruption while maintaining high levels of customer service. This is a 12-month fixed-term assignment.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level technical support for enterprise applications and end-user computer equipment.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to support knowledge capture.
- Manage work orders by accurately recording and routing tickets in the Help Desk tracking system.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals such as printers and scanners.
- Support hardware and software asset management, including procurement, inventory tracking, and deployment.
- Assist in training end-users on standard hardware and software applications.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school or graduated within the last 24 months.
- Declared major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to a 12-month fixed-term assignment.
- A valid driver's license.

- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Modality: Hybrid work arrangement available.
- Compensation: $19.82/hour for undergraduates and $21.85/hour for graduate students.
