    About the role#

    Neighborly is seeking an Application Developer Intern to join the Technology team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining custom software solutions that support our network of home service brands. This is a part-time, paid internship offering a hybrid work schedule.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and maintain custom software using established coding practices.
    • Build functioning solutions based on defined technical requirements.
    • Research and recommend solutions to meet specific business needs.
    • Test and debug software applications to ensure quality.
    • Collaborate with team members to enhance existing software solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
    • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, specifically C#.
    • Familiarity with common API technologies, including SOAP and REST.
    • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to work as a self-starter and function autonomously with minimal supervision.
    • Strong time management, detail-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to work.

    Location & details#

    • Locations: Irving, Texas (500 E John Carpenter Fwy) or Waco, Texas (1010 N University Parks Drive).
    • Work Modality: Hybrid (In-office Monday through Wednesday; remote Thursday and Friday).
    • Term: Rolling.
