About the role#
The MarketSite Event Concierge Intern supports the execution of high-profile client and company events at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. This role focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality and developing executive presence while working alongside internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for visitors.
What you'll do#
- Greet all guests with a professional welcome upon their arrival.
- Provide superior customer service to all clients and guests.
- Support the planning and execution of high-profile events.
- Collaborate with Event Producers and internal departments including Catering, AV, Broadcast, Facilities, Security, and Creative teams.
- Inspect all meeting rooms and event spaces at the start of each day to ensure readiness.
- Maintain professionalism and executive presence when interacting with senior clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college, with a preference for majors in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and sound decision-making ability.
- Prior experience in events, client services, marketing, or hospitality is considered a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located in New York City.
- The role is 100% on-site, requiring attendance five days per week.
- Daily hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM ET and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET.
