As a Diagnostics Development Co-op, you will work directly with a tight-knit team of scientists and engineers to drive product development forward. You will contribute to critical team discussions, meetings, and presentations, taking ownership of important projects that support the development of a first-in-class in vitro diagnostics platform.
What you'll do#
- Manage and support a variety of engineering tasks.
- Tailor responsibilities to your specific background, with potential focus areas ranging from hardware, 3D printing, and prototyping to molecular biology.
- Engage in interdisciplinary medtech development and learn about cutting-edge biophysics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or above, with demonstrated experience through previous internships or research projects.
- Academic background in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High level of organization, scientific rigor, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to a startup environment.
- Passion for technology translation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- The term is for Summer 2026, requiring a commitment of 15+ weeks.
- This role is paid.
