Graphic Design Intern / Contract Designer

About the role#

Nanoleaf is seeking a Graphic Design Intern or Contract Designer to support the marketing team with day-to-day creative production. This role focuses on digital content creation, including website graphics, email assets, and promotional materials. You will work closely with the internal Graphic Designer to produce clean, on-brand assets across various digital channels. This position is ideal for junior designers, recent graduates, or early-career freelancers looking for hands-on experience with a global consumer technology brand.

What you'll do#

• Design homepage banners, website graphics, landing page visuals, and promotional content.
• Create graphics for email newsletters, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Develop social media graphics, paid media assets, display ads, and partner marketing visuals.
• Prepare, organize, and export design files for internal and external use.
• Ensure all work adheres to Nanoleaf’s visual identity and brand guidelines.

What you'll need#

• A portfolio demonstrating digital design, web graphics, email, social media, or marketing content work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Figma.
• A strong eye for layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• High attention to detail and the ability to follow established brand guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple creative tasks and deadlines.

Location & details#

• Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid).
• Schedule: Full-time, Summer 2026 term.
• Requirements: Must be able to work onsite at the Toronto office two days per week.
