Operations and Sales Intern

About the role#

This internship supports operations and sales efforts within the American vegetable seed market. You will act as a representative for the company, driving the adoption of AI-powered seed analysis and sorting solutions among seed companies, breeders, and producers. This position requires a hands-on approach to both technical operations and commercial development.

What you'll do#

• Operate and monitor AI-driven seed sorting machines to analyze seed and grain batches.
• Conduct phenotyping assessments using mobile software.
• Process and structure phenotypical data to support AI training and algorithm development.
• Handle administrative tasks for customer orders, including documentation and internal coordination.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to reach and exceed sales targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with major seed companies and vegetable breeders.
• Manage marketing initiatives and monitor market trends to support business growth.

What you'll need#

• A positive, proactive, and responsible attitude with a willingness to learn.
• A strong understanding of new technologies, AI, and data, with the ability to sell a technical product.
• Direct experience within the vegetable seed industry or Agri-Technology is a significant advantage.
• Academic background in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science, or Environmental Engineering.
