About the role#
The Business Lending Internship provides hands-on experience in commercial real estate credit analysis. This role involves evaluating borrower financial conditions and supporting the lending process through detailed risk assessments and documentation reviews.
What you'll do#
- Underwrite commercial real estate credit reviews and recommend risk-rating changes.
- Analyze borrower repayment ability, personal cash flow, and commercial leases.
- Review and interpret personal and business credit reports.
- Evaluate professional real estate appraisals and track property insurance documentation.
- Perform property inspections and support financial reviews on required credits.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions in both written and oral form.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Real Estate is preferred.
