About the role#
This COOP position offers an opportunity to learn project operations by working directly with industry professionals. You will support the delivery of construction projects while gaining practical experience in how teams coordinate, maintain schedules, and solve challenges on-site.
What you'll do#
- Work with project managers to gather information and prepare reports.
- Assist with site contract document control.
- Coordinate with general contractors to align on priorities and activities.
- Facilitate meetings with subcontractors and clients.
- Support the management and monitoring of construction schedules.
- Communicate information between office personnel and field staff.
- Assist project managers, coordinators, and foremen on various tasks as requested.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university degree or college diploma program in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively in both construction job site and office environments.
- A resourceful, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
- Experience in the construction industry or a basic understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems is considered an asset.

- Location: Ontario, Canada.
- Term: 8-12 month placement starting Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour.
