About the role#
This internship supports the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team by assisting with monthly financial processes, reporting, and systems administration. The role is designed for a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or economics who is looking to gain practical experience with financial data, systems, and recurring reporting cycles.
What you'll do#
- Assist with maintaining monthly FP&A files, including rolling files forward for each reporting period.
- Support budget versus actual analysis by gathering data, identifying variances, and preparing reports.
- Assist with running and organizing trial balances and related financial reports.
- Help maintain and support processes within NetSuite and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting.
- Work with team members to ensure financial data is accurate, organized, and updated on a timely basis.
- Provide general analytical and administrative support for recurring FP&A activities and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to organize data, manage recurring tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
