Operations Intern

About the role#

The Operations Intern supports the property management team in the day-to-day operations of a residential community. This role provides hands-on experience in property operations, resident relations, leasing support, financial processes, and site management. You will work closely with the Property Manager and the operations team to gain exposure to leadership responsibilities, property inspections, and maintenance coordination.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Property Manager in overseeing daily property operations and administrative tasks.
• Conduct routine property walks and site inspections; document observations and communicate service or safety concerns.
• Maintain positive and professional communication with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members.
• Help prepare reports, resident communications, move-out documentation, and operational records.
• Support the maintenance team by reporting service needs and monitoring property conditions.

What you'll need#

• Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Interest in property management, business operations, real estate, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• Willingness to learn property operations, leasing, and resident services.
