Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. (MEMS) is seeking an Environmental Science Co-Op Student to join the Brownfield Assessment & Development team for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides hands-on experience in environmental consulting, field investigations, monitoring, and technical reporting. The position is based on-site, with approximately 80% of the work conducted in the field and 20% in the office, involving travel to client sites and remote locations.
What you'll do#
- Support Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Assist with soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and surface water sampling.
- Participate in vegetation monitoring and reclamation projects.
- Compile environmental data and review laboratory results.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports and regulatory submissions.
- Work alongside experienced environmental professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or related program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and technical writing proficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- A valid non-GDL Class 5 Driver License.
