About the role#
The Internal Audit Work Experience Program at MGM Resorts International offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Interns work under the direction of experienced team members to understand IT and compliance audits in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Gain knowledge in performing IT and compliance audits.
- Learn to conduct and perform observations and walk-throughs.
- Document examinations, analytical reviews, reconciliations, and other procedures.
- Develop an understanding of internal controls and their impact on related business processes.
- Receive personalized learning plans aligned with your professional goals.
- Network with company leaders and attend Resort Knowledge Days to learn about business strategies.
- Gain cross-functional exposure to MGM Resorts business operations.
- Participate in corporate social responsibility initiatives, including diversity training and philanthropic events.
What you'll need#
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics at an accredited college or university.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in written and oral forms.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
