The Student Services Concierge serves as a primary point of contact for students and visitors at the South Omaha Campus. This full-time, paid position supports the Student Welcome Center by providing administrative assistance, navigating students to appropriate resources, and ensuring the efficient operation of daily campus services.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist students and visitors in the Student Welcome Center.
- Answer telephones, transfer calls, and schedule appointments.
- Help students navigate college resources, including registration, student planning, and the MyWay Portal.
- Perform cashier functions, including receiving and posting payments and deposits.
- Maintain forms and manage daily mail services for campus departments.
- Ensure proper security protocols when opening and closing the Center.
- Stay informed on campus activities, tours, and workshops to assist with on-site organization.
What you'll need#
- Associate degree.
- Two years of direct customer service experience.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred.
- Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with computer software and CRM systems.
- Ability to handle cash and perform mathematical calculations.
- Familiarity with FERPA regulations and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds and remain seated or standing for extended periods.
Location & details#
- Location: South Omaha Campus, Omaha, Nebraska.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
