About the role#
Metrea Advanced Signals is seeking an Engineering Co-op to join our team in Victor, New York. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside our software and hardware teams to develop embedded software for our communications and Radio Frequency (RF) sensing products. You will gain experience in a professional engineering environment while contributing to the development of our technical capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test embedded software within an Agile development process.
- Support the broader team in achieving objectives related to the development of communications products.
- Maintain clear communication with your supervisor regarding your class schedule and availability, including time needed for academic commitments like exams.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and Linux.
- Must be ITAR cleared.
- Must possess the necessary work authorization and security clearance.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

- Location: Victor, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
