About the role#
This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship focused on the design-build construction process. Interns gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, ranging from initial bid development to final project execution within the geotechnical construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the company safety culture by identifying potential hazards and maintaining a commitment to safe work practices.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and geotechnical reports.
- Prepare budgets and proposals under the guidance of the estimating team.
- Manage project submittals and develop necessary documentation.
- Perform onsite QA/QC work during project execution.
- Coordinate with operations and design teams regarding production and quality requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Ability to interpret technical reports and construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration.
- A proactive approach to site safety and quality control.
