Corrosion Survey Crew Intern (2 positions)

About the role#

The Corrosion Survey Crew Intern assists in performing "Over-the-Line" pipeline surveys and pipeline locating. This role requires extensive travel (100%) and regular overtime. Two positions are available.

What you'll do#

• Set up pipeline locator transmitters and operate pipeline locator receivers.
• Retrieve survey wire and assist in setting rectifier current interrupters.
• Navigate between test stations and operate a 4x4 truck or UTV.
• Comply with all customer and landowner stipulations and requirements.
• Maintain a safe and positive work environment, prioritizing safety in all daily tasks.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 18 years to operate power-driven equipment.
• Physical capability to walk all day in any terrain or weather conditions.
• Commitment to protecting networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
