Engineering Student - RF EGSE - Fall 2026

About the role#

This is a full-time engineering internship based in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. The position covers the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms, with a 4-month mandate and the possibility of extension to 8 months. Successful candidates will be integrated into the EGSE and Test Data Processing department and treated similarly to a new graduate, with tasks assigned based on their level of experience and schooling.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the production of equipment for communication satellite systems.
• Contribute to the design and development cycle of radio frequency (RF) equipment and associated test equipment within a multifunctional team.
• Support the integration and testing of flight prototypes.
• Attend project planning and progress meetings.
• Work across different sections of a single project or contribute to multiple programs.

What you'll need#

• Completion of at least five semesters of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering prior to the internship start date.
• Demonstrated academic performance with a grade point average above 3.30.
• Interest in and knowledge of RF circuit design and RF components.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, ideally in both English and French.
• Ability to obtain and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
