About the role#
Maven is seeking a social-media-native intern to support content creation and day-to-day social media execution for Maven Consumer. You will work directly with the Senior Manager of Social Media on projects that have tangible, real-world impact.
What you'll do#
- Support content calendar planning and scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Create short-form video, graphics, and captions that are on-brand and platform-native.
- Use AI creative tools to move faster and iterate on content.
- Assist with trend research and social listening to identify opportunities in health, wellness, and adjacent categories.
- Monitor trends, viral moments, and platform updates to provide a perspective on where Maven should participate.
- Conduct competitive research on how peer brands show up across social channels.
- Organize and maintain creative assets and content libraries.
What you'll need#
- Genuine fluency in Instagram and TikTok with an understanding of what performs and why.
- Hands-on comfort with AI creative tools, such as ChatGPT for copy, Canva for visuals, and CapCut for video.
- Strong writing skills and a good eye for visual content.
- Organized and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Sprout Social, Figma, or similar tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026 (August through November).
- Commitment: 10–15 hours per week.
- Modality: Remote.
- Compensation: $20/hour.
- Employment Status: Paid internship; this role is not full-time and is not eligible for full-time employee benefits.
