About the role#
As an IT Intern, you will join the Materion IT Service Desk to support end users and gain direct exposure to corporate IT infrastructure. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term. We provide flexibility to accommodate your college schedule while you develop professional skills in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide telephone, email, and hands-on support to end users regarding various technical issues.
- Assist the IT team with service desk operations.
- Develop professional skills and gain insight into corporate IT infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college junior or senior in an information technology program, or a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
- At least 6 months of work experience interacting with customers.
- Professional telephone skills and strong written communication abilities with attention to detail.
- A desire to learn and grow with new technology.

- This role is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
- This is an on-site, part-time position.
