The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support the production team by developing and maintaining work instructions to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing processes. This role involves collaboration across departments to improve production methods and design necessary tooling.
What you'll do#
- Develop, update, and distribute production work instructions according to standard formats and engineering changes.
- Manage the approval process for documentation and maintain records in the company system.
- Participate in team-based process improvement initiatives, including 5S, kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Design tools, fixtures, and racks used for holding components during electroplated, NLN, or PVD processes.
- Perform additional duties as required to support manufacturing operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering higher education program.
- Ability to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Intermediate math skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and within diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CREO and verbal proficiency in Spanish are considered pluses.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $17.40 - $23.65 per hour.
