About the role#
LGA Partners is seeking an Interior Design Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This part-time, paid internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working alongside professional staff on projects across various sectors, including aviation, healthcare, education, housing, retail, and workplace design. The role is based in our Pittsburgh office.
What you'll do#
- Assist designers with the layout of interior spaces and finish selections.
- Prepare finish boards for project presentations.
- Coordinate and schedule vendor product updates and presentations.
- Maintain and update the interiors library.
- Manage product sample ordering and receiving.
- Participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year Bachelor of Interior Architecture or Interior Design program.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketch-up.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
