Marketing & Social Media Internship

About the role#

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Marketing & Social Media Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This remote, paid internship provides students with hands-on experience and structured mentorship within a national luxury wedding brand. Interns will observe professional marketing workflows, participate in creative planning, and receive ongoing coaching to develop skills in strategy, content creation, and digital operations.

What you'll do#

• Research industry trends and social media best practices.
• Assist with content organization and the development of editorial calendars.
• Draft social media captions for review and feedback.
• Support updates for the company blog and website.
• Assist with basic graphic design tasks using Canva.
• Help prepare marketing reports using social media analytics.
• Conduct competitor and market research to support campaign planning.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• A creative mindset with a focus on design, storytelling, and brand consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Interest in social media, branding, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.
