About the role#
Language Trainers is seeking a private English tutor to support an Italian-speaking adult student. This is a part-time, freelance position based in New York. The role involves providing general English instruction to help the student improve their communication skills.
What you'll do#
- Deliver private English lessons to an adult student.
- Prepare and implement tailored lesson plans that focus on general language development.
- Conduct lessons at your own location in New York.
- Coordinate with the student regarding scheduling and lesson logistics.

- Native English proficiency.
- Previous experience in language teaching.
- Ability to host lessons at your own location.
- Flexibility to accommodate the student's schedule, specifically morning sessions in August.
- Professional negotiation skills to discuss compensation and travel expenses.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site at the teacher's location.
- Schedule: Lessons are requested for August 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, and 20, starting around 10 am, though these times are negotiable.
- Compensation: Salary and travel costs are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
