Graphics Artist Intern

About the role#

Lamar Advertising Company is seeking a Graphics Artist Intern to join the team in Pensacola, Florida. This part-time, paid internship offers an opportunity for a graphic design student to gain real-world experience assisting in the creation of outdoor and digital product designs. The role involves a 16-week training program and requires candidates to have U.S. work authorization.

What you'll do#

• Design outdoor creative for various product lines, including outdoor and digital displays.
• Assist in the creation of outdoor designs.
• Manage and complete assigned design jobs according to the daily schedule.
• Utilize standard graphic design software to produce high-quality work.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in college studying Graphic Design (minimum 1 year completed) or equivalent professional experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Strong vision for design, including the ability to distinguish color patterns and identify effective use of color.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and a demonstrated aptitude for graphic design.

Location & details#

• Location: Pensacola, Florida.
• Work modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm).
• Compensation: $15 per hour.
