About the role#
Kulicke & Soffa is seeking a Mechanical Intern to support the development of robotic semiconductor equipment. This full-time internship is an on-site position based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering groups in developing product solutions and support services.
- Develop solutions to engineering problems requiring analytical computation or design.
- Assemble, test, and evaluate feasibility models and engineering prototypes.
- Design parts using CAD software and prepare materials for presentations.
- Gather, document, and organize technical data for evaluation.
- Analyze and report results from obtained data.
- Interface with fabricators, vendors, purchasing teams, and designers on technical matters.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Broad knowledge of technology and basic engineering applications.
- Proficiency in analytical computation.
- Experience with CAD design.
- Ability to perform technical data analysis.
