The Technical Intern role within the Support Practice Group offers an opportunity to work alongside senior technical staff in a collaborative environment. This part-time, paid position focuses on providing technology support across various industry verticals, with a specific emphasis on the legal sector. Interns will operate remotely while based in the Atlanta area.
What you'll do#
- Learn about diverse client environments and the technologies used within them, including cloud and on-premise solutions.
- Work with infrastructure and networking equipment from vendors such as Microsoft, Broadcom, and Cisco.
- Manage tasks through a ticketing system assigned or scheduled by the on-duty dispatcher.
- Incorporate the C.L.I.E.N.T. service pillars—Communicative, Listener, Initiative, Empathic, Nimble, and Tenacious—into all ongoing work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Sophomore or Junior in college, pursuing a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and follow-up.
- A strong interest in technology.
- Preferred: Experience with Windows desktop or server operating systems and networking hardware basics.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote (must reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area).
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Positions available for Monday-Friday (29 hours/week) or Monday-Thursday (28 hours/week) shifts, with some flexibility.
