Montreal - Internship Cyber Security - Fall 2026

About the role#

KPMG Canada is seeking undergraduate students for a full-time, paid Cyber Security internship for the Fall 2026 term. Based within our Advisory - Risk Consulting practice, you will join a team focused on delivering high-quality security solutions to clients. This role requires proficiency in both French and English for daily communication with stakeholders.

What you'll do#

• Analyze client data, present findings, and suggest areas for improvement.
• Assist with cyber security mandates, including governance, risk management, security assessments, and incident response.
• Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to understand issues, develop hypotheses, and conduct research.
• Support IT security projects to modernize IT systems, including the creation of risk analysis and threat scenarios.
• Contribute to the development of the Consulting Services - Management group through business development, recruitment support, and internal research.
• Assist clients at an executive level in the creation of security programs.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate student in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.
• Strong academic record.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Familiarity with incident response, forensic work, cyber security governance, cloud security, and data protection.
• Ability to provide consultation and analysis while managing competing priorities.
