As a Workday Student Financials Architect / Consultant, you will act as a strategic partner for higher-education institutions, leading medium-to-large implementations and post-production initiatives. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage multiple parallel projects. You will help shape the growth of the Workday Student practice by mentoring junior team members and defining internal best practices.
What you'll do#
- Design, configure, and deploy Workday Student solutions tailored to institutional needs.
- Lead client sessions to identify requirements and provide expert advice on best practices.
- Manage project scope and quality while coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Conduct deep-dive research into complex technical issues and present effective, long-term solutions.
- Innovate the practice by documenting lessons learned to establish new standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- 4+ years of experience within the Workday ecosystem, whether in implementation, post-production, or at a client site.
- Deep specialization in Student Financials, Student Core, Security, and Reporting.
- Proven experience leading projects from initial scoping through go-live.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical dependencies to non-technical stakeholders.
