Manufacturing Operations Intern – Labor & Maintenance Analytics

About the role#

Kingspan is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Intern to support the Modesto, California facility. This 10-week, project-based internship focuses on labor tracking, preventive maintenance, and stores management. You will work directly with Operations and Maintenance teams to analyze data, build operational models, and translate findings into actionable improvements. The internship concludes with a formal presentation of your project results to site and senior leadership.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and site leadership on assigned project work.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret labor, maintenance, and operational data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, or tools to track performance and variances.
• Document existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and deliver a professional final presentation to site and senior leadership at the end of the internship.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine interest in manufacturing environments and continuous improvement.

• Location: Modesto, California (On-site).
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 26, 2026 – August 1, 2026).
• Status: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Compensation: Paid internship.
