Manufacturing Operations Intern – Labor & Maintenance Analytics

About the role#

Kingspan is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Intern for a 10-week, project-based internship at our Modesto, California facility. This role focuses on labor tracking, preventive maintenance, and stores management optimization. You will work alongside Operations and Maintenance teams to analyze operational data and develop tools that improve site performance. This position concludes with a formal presentation of your project results and recommendations to site and senior leadership.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and site leadership on assigned project work.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret labor, maintenance, and operational data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, or tools to track performance and variances.
• Document processes and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and deliver a professional final presentation to site and senior leadership at the end of the internship.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Computer Science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in manufacturing environments and continuous improvement.

• Term: Summer 2026 (May 26, 2026 – August 1, 2026).
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Work Modality: On-site.
