Intern - Outsourced CFO for Hedge Funds, Private Equity, & Venture Capital Funds

About the role#

Junonia Partners provides outsourced CFO and controller services to hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital funds. As an intern, you will support core engagements and project-based initiatives, gaining exposure to diverse fund structures and operational models. This role focuses on producing accurate financial work, documenting operational workflows, and refining processes to support client environments.

What you'll do#

• Assist with reviewing fund administrator NAV packages and supporting workpapers.
• Support tri-party reconciliations between prime brokers, administrators, and client OMS platforms.
• Help prepare and review management fee and incentive allocation calculations.
• Provide treasury management services, including invoice review, expense allocation, call backs, and payment processing.
• Help document operational workflows and identify areas for process improvement.

What you'll need#

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong accounting focus preferred.
• Strong academic background and a demonstrated interest in financial services or alternative investments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems and software.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
