About the role#
The Project Purchasing team is seeking a Co-op student to support business-critical automation initiatives. This role involves developing and implementing software automation solutions to improve efficiency and streamline processes across internal systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate data, create reporting solutions, and assist with continuous improvement projects using Microsoft business applications and data analytics tools.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software automation solutions between existing business systems.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process optimization.
- Support the integration of data and workflows across Microsoft-based platforms and internal applications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Utilize Power Automate to create, test, and deploy automated workflows.
- Support SharePoint site administration, document management, and process improvements.
- Analyze business data and prepare reports to support project purchasing and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and document workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with plans to attend in Fall 2026.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior academic standing as of Fall 2026.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years prior to the start date.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Commitment: Full-time, minimum of 32 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
