As an Intern Producer at Journey’s Broadway Studio, you will work alongside design professionals to support projects ranging from strategy and experience design to content production. This role focuses on the cultural and visitor attraction sector, where you will assist the Project Director and Producers in coordinating internal teams and clients.
What you'll do#
- Schedule and attend internal and client meetings, including documenting minutes and summaries.
- Track and assign project deliverables and meeting actions to facilitate progress.
- Support the scheduling and resourcing of projects involving in-house, freelance, and subcontracted teams.
- Coordinate communication between clients and design teams across multiple time zones.
- Manage media assets and maintain relevant licensing requirements.
- Update internal production tools and assist in tracking budget spend.
- Support the preparation of client presentations.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office.
- An interest in narrative-driven or culturally-led storytelling.
- Desirable: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Desirable: Previous experience in a creative industry, project management, or working on cultural and exhibition-based projects.
- Desirable: Ability to research creative concepts and provide copywriting or proofreading support.
- Majors preferred: Graphic Design, Communications, Media Studies, Art, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid ($25/hour) internship based on-site at the Broadway Studio in New York, New York.
- The position operates on a rolling term.
- Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
