About the role#
The Office Intern at JAMES POWER LINE CONSTRUCTION, LLC provides support for daily office operations and administrative tasks. This position offers hands-on experience in a professional construction industry environment, focusing on guest services, internal team support, and general office maintenance.
What you'll do#
- Greet and welcome visitors and employees as the front desk representative during office hours.
- Help track and organize office supplies and assist with reordering when needed.
- Assist with ordering and tracking PPE kits for new hires under staff supervision.
- Help coordinate office vendors or service providers under guidance.
- Provide support for office meetings and events, including preparation of materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Business Administration or Communications.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and follow instructions in a professional environment.
- No prior office experience is required; previous administrative or customer service experience is a plus.
