About the role#
Intandem is seeking an Information Technology Intern to support the agency's technical infrastructure. This part-time, unpaid role involves managing hardware and telecommunications systems while assisting staff with their technical needs.
What you'll do#
- Develop, install, and maintain networking and telecommunication hardware and programs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding software and equipment.
- Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve technical concerns.
- Interpret technical manuals and apply information to solve hardware and software problems.
- Explain technical concepts and software applications to non-technical staff.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of an acceptable combination of related experience, training, and education.
- Experience working with Windows operating systems and applications.
- Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical publications and manuals.
- Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
