Info-Tech Research Group is seeking a Service Desk Technician Co-op for the Fall 2026 term (September – December). This is a full-time, on-site position based in London, Ontario. You will support our internal IT operations by handling hardware maintenance, user onboarding, and asset management.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, test, and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
- Prepare, image, and configure computers for deployment to ensure they meet company standards.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Assist new hires with first-time setup, including system access, driver updates, and login verification.
- Coordinate equipment returns with HR and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Perform daily inspections of AV systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Provide support to the Service Desk team by resolving technical tickets and end-user requests.
- Maintain detailed documentation regarding repairs, imaging, and asset changes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a College Diploma or University Degree program in a related field, such as Computer Systems, with eligibility for a co-op placement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, and mobile device support (Android and iOS).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Productivity Suite and general network devices like routers and switches.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated interest in technology and hands-on technical work.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
