About the role#

Independent Stave Company offers full-time, paid internships designed to provide professional development and hands-on experience within the wine and spirits industry. Interns are exposed to various facets of the business, with experiences tailored to specific departments and locations. This program is structured to meet the requirements of an apprenticeship.

What you'll do#

Interns will work 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime, across a 10-12 week period starting May 19, 2026. You will participate in a structured program that includes professional mentorship and exposure to global cooperage operations.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks.
• Commitment to servant leadership, teamwork, and adaptability.

• Location: Lebanon, Missouri.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Paid position with housing or a housing stipend provided, plus travel expenses covered for the trip to and from the internship.
