    About the role#

    As a CA Development Intern at HME, you will contribute to software development for an intercom product. You will work within an Agile team to migrate web components from Angular.js to Angular v18, focusing on modernizing the codebase while ensuring system stability.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with an Agile team to migrate web components from Angular.js to Angular v18.
    • Break down complex migration work into manageable tasks.
    • Write and validate unit and integration tests.
    • Participate in code reviews and fix bugs.
    • Update functional specifications as required.
    • Attend and contribute to Agile team meetings.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
    • Good knowledge of TypeScript.
    • At least basic knowledge of Angular.js and/or Angular.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively in English, as some team members are English-only speakers.
    • Interest in working within an active development environment.
    • Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Bash and Python is considered an asset.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Ontario, Canada.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid. While flexible, office attendance is suggested on Mondays and Tuesdays.
    • Term: Rolling.
    • Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
