About the role#

This HR Co-Op position provides administrative and technical support to the Organizational Effectiveness team. You will assist in the development and delivery of various HR programs, including training, internal communications, and culture initiatives. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Houston, Texas.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the development of internal communications content for company activities, initiatives, and corporate newsletters.
• Manage internal communications platforms, such as the corporate intranet and digital signage.
• Support the Learning Management System (LMS) by scheduling classes, recording completions, generating reports, and updating user records.
• Prepare and modify training materials, including PowerPoints, guidebooks, outlines, and job aids featuring graphics and diagrams.
• Create and edit online courses and instructional videos.
• Maintain electronic and paper training files and manage training supply inventory.
• Support the Leadership 360 Assessment and Development process by maintaining records and communicating with participants.
• Assist with the set-up and break-down of training classes and the organization of special events.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments and manage multiple tasks with differing priorities.
• Preferred experience with Workday, Cornerstone, Articulate, Visme, or Canva.
